We require a reservation fee of £20 per service to secure an appointments on your first three visits, the reservation fee will be redeemable against your appointment when checking out or can remain on your account to secure future bookings.
We send out and email appointment conformation on booking, an email reminder 5 days before and a text 2 days before the appointment to give you ample reminders should you need to amend or cancel the booking.
Cancellation Policy
At The Strand, we carefully plan our diary to ensure every guest receives the time and attention they deserve. When appointments are missed or cancelled at short notice, it can be very difficult for us to fill that time and it directly impacts our team and the running of the salon.
Because of this, we kindly ask that all appointment changes are made with at least 48 hours notice.
Appointments cancelled or rescheduled within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment time will incur a charge of 50% of the booked services.
Clients who do not attend their appointment without notifying the salon will also be charged 100% of the service cost.
Running a salon involves significant daily operating costs including staff wages, rent, utilities and professional products. This policy allows us to protect the livelihood of our team and ensure the business remains sustainable while continuing to provide the level of service our clients expect.

We follow a colour responsible policy for the safety and peaces of mind of our clients and team. If its your first visit to us or you have not had your colour done in the last 6 months we will require you to attend the salon for a skin test. A small amount of colour will be placed on your skin, you should leave this for 48 hours, if you experience any irritation you should let us know.
